I have been detesting Google for a while now and am frankly not too put off by being disassociated with them.

Google has been turning the internet into more of a cesspool than it has ever been. They are only interested in keyword loading to get surfers to sites with their ads.

Unlike years ago when I would use the internet as a reference, anymore I'll go to the library or buy a book; the internet just has too much crap trying to get people to sites to click on ads.
Well, that's what I get for clicking on the last post; I didn't realize there had been several replies, so my responses may seem wayyy out of order with the conversation.Tongue

I didn't put Google ads on pages, or sites, with adult content.

Top of the page, sidebar, inline with content; yep, dodgey areas.Tongue

Not just that, but you can only display a certain number of Ad units on a page (check the guidelines to be sure).

And traffic quality is important, if the advertisers are wasting their money on the clicks on your sites, then I guess that could get you banned too if you didn't clean up your act. One reason I don't display Adsense on this site.

@Menard its very sad to read about google has disabled your adsense account.I think you could ask them which site or which link exactly is in non-compliance. Most commonly could be a case of either too many ads showing -or pictures next to ads - or even someone else using our adsense id and putting up ads in bad sites..so email them and ask about the specifics shooting rude houmer.

RE: Google has disabled my Adsense account
With all the major Ad networks it's important to carefully study the rules and then get re-involved via another family member or friend maybe?

To start with though, you should always build a showcase site. Like, look at me here, I am focused on content with minimal monetization.

So, if you want to promote say a web host, you should first build a website on the subject of web hosting. The same goes for any other niche that you may get involved in.

Aim for at least 11 informational pages, then build traffic to the site and finally monetize it.

Actually, I think you should wait until you get a page one listing in search results and get about 100 unique visitors per day before considering monetization.
