How many old laptops do you have lying around?

I have quite a few.

I was just starting up my old Toshiba Tecra 510CDT, my first PC, for the first time after having let my niece use it for a while.

Oh my goodness.

I don't know what all happened to it, but the screen looks horrible with bleeding fonts, the mouse controls are shot; but at least it starts up.

Now I attached an old Microsoft trackball to the laptop, but I don't have a right click function; it may have no right click as this trackball preceded Windows 95.

I was looking through the files and finding a lot of old downloads of programs which many have since disappeared from the web. I used to be a download junkie and have lots of legacy files, software, I have downloaded from the now defunct Winsite, and the old Simtel; as well others.

I have lots of stuff for the Sharp Zaurus ZR-5800, palmtop and pocket PCs, and no telling what else.

I have some other old laptops including the HP model I used after the Tecra; and I was as much of a download junkie on it as well.

I'm going to try to get the old files off of the Tecra and others and put some of them on one of my sites for legacy purposes.

Anybody have any old computers or laptops lying around with stuff on it you haven't seen for years?

interesting post, I have a box of old computer gear in my parents house that includes 3D monster maze for the ZX81 that I promised to set up a sales site for ... still in the pipe line.

More lately I did subscribe for the resale rights to cool webmaster software to build all kinds of sites such as one for e-learning.

So I think I need to get going with this to get the standard tempates of the sites up ASAP on directories off one of my webmaster-related sites.

Darned procrastination kicking in again!
