Fast way to delete directories on server

Rather than deleting directory trees via your FTP client, try the file management tool in cpanel. You simply select a directory and click on the delete icon (cross). Then the files are recursively deleted in seconds.

This is particularly useful for when you are deleting a bulky CMS script such as WordPress.
